Responsibilities for this Position
General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for a Test Automation Lead to join our team. The position provides an opportunity to develop and advance the cutting-edge technology that supports our nation’s fundamental defense services. GDMS employees work closely with the government to develop solutions that allow them to carry out submarine missions. The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams to deliver end-to-end solutions in mission systems integration, development, and operations support to fleets and the organization. The TCS program is looking for a former US Navy Submarine Fire Control Technician (FT), to lead the Test Automation efforts. This testing is in support of the AN/BYG-1 Tactical Control System (TCS) using eggPlant software. Candidates are expected to provide strong work ethic with a passion to deliver high quality products to the US Navy.
US Navy Submarine Fire Control Technician (FT) experience is REQUIRED.
Candidate should be capable of understanding and providing technical evaluation of multiple software baselines. This position requires the ability to multi-task while working independently and within dynamic team environments. Candidates must possess high attention to detail, strong verbal and written communication skills, and Microsoft Office proficiency.
Network and system administration and troubleshooting experience in a Linux environment
Navy Test & Evaluation (T&E) experience
AN/BYG-1 Submarine Fire Control Systems recent experience
