Title: Test Engineer I

Position Summary:

Design and develop test plans and procedures for the verification and validation of RF, Digital HW, FW and SW. Design and implement an overall modular test strategy to support multiple product lines. Includes working with subject matter experts to develop and support comprehensive test concepts for full design verification of products and sub-systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for technical activity and completion of assigned tasks on time and budget

  • Design, develop, analyze, document and support testing of products, systems or subsystems

  • May use computer-aided engineering or other design/analysis software in the performance of assignments.

  • Ability to work independently, regular reporting of progress and status

  • Provide budget, cost and schedule input for design assignments

  • Support the program design to cost and design for manufacture requirements

  • Develop prototypes to retire key development risks

  • Communicate clearly (written and oral) with other company personnel and the customer as required

  • May provide technical knowledge and assistance to other engineers and support personnel

  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization

  • Basic Qualifications:

  • 0+ years (Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience)

  • Basic understanding of RF

  • National Instrument’s LabVIEW, Basic scripting (Python, Visual Basics, Bash, C Shell, or similar)

  • Able to multi-task, self-assign work, and function in a dynamic environment

  • U.S Citizenship required
