Kaiser Permanente Training Coordinator - Learning and Organization Effectiveness (Temporary) in Rockville, Maryland

This position is responsible for scheduling, registration, and logistics for all LOE technical course offerings.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the LOE Director and accountable LOE consultants to schedule all LOE course offerings, training rooms, instructors, and classroom equipment.

  • Register, track, and confirm class enrollments for leadership development, service, and other courses using an enterprise Learning Management System - KP Learn.

  • Certification as a Course Administration in KP Learn which includes loading all KP-MAS courses in the system.

  • Partner with the LOE specialist to create and maintain course catalog of all course offerings in KPLearn.

  • Participate in project and implementation planning meetings for LOE projects, such as, People Pulse, Onboarding, Talent Review etc. Accountable for assisting with project management of regional projects through scheduling, tracking, and reporting on status of project plans to support implementation activities.

  • Schedule meeting rooms and meeting locations for courses, LOE meetings, and relevant stakeholder meetings.

  • Provide logistical and administrative support for programs, regional projects and the LOE team, including provisioning and managing the onboarding schedule for all LOE new hires.

  • Manage LOE billing and vendor invoices using OneLink.

  • Participate in special projects as assigned to meet departmental objective

This is a full time temporary position through 2018

Basic Qualifications:


  • Minimum one (1) year of administrative support experience required.


  • Bachelor's degree OR four (4) years of directly related experience required.

  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.

License, Certification, Registration

  • N/A

Additional Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

  • Proven presentation and writing skills required.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is required.

  • Attention to detail is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Health care experience is preferred.

  • Knowledge of Learning Management Systems preferred.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
